Fashion Designers and Musicians have an opportunity to compete for some fantastic prizes at the Caribbean Fashion and Music Fair. Below are the Details.

Music Contest

Musicians and Recording/Performing Artists have an opportunity to win cash prizes and free registration for the World Championship of Performing Arts to take place in Los Angeles, California in July 2013.

1st Prize: US$1,500.00

2nd Prize: US$1,200.00

3rd Prize: US$1,000.00

People's Choice: US$300.00

May 27th 2013: Music Preliminaries and Rehearsal: 9:00 am - 1:00 pm

Music Competition: 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Music Competition Semi-Finals: 8:00 pm till closing.

May 28th 2013: Music Semi-Finals: 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm

Music Finals: 8:30 pm to 10:30 pm

7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

May 27th 2013: Introduction to Major Fashion Designers - 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

May 28th 2013: 2nd Fashion Show (Resort Wear) - 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm

3rd Fashion Show: Casual and Haute Couture

7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

COMPETITIONS

Buyers Forum

On May 28th 2013, there will be a Buyers Forum from 9:00 am - 11:00 am, where the Fair will be closed to the general public, and only commercial and high end buyers will be allowed on the premises so that they can talk to all exhibitors and see their work. This is an opportunity for business liasions to be established and sales agreements to be drawn up.

Artisans will have their own section space at the Fair where they will display their items: crafts, souvenirs, bags, hats, shoes, accessories and anything that they have created that can be marketed and sold.
